AOP Chateau Riviere Red Wine
Produced in the heart of the Fronsac appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux, this elegant red wine is primarily a blend of Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled vats and aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, resulting in a complex profile featuring notes of dark cherries, blackberry, plum, and spicy vanilla, which evolve into forest floor, truffle, and licorice with age. It offers a round, supple texture with polished tannins and is best paired with classic meat dishes such as beef, lamb, duck, or game, as well as rich pasta and aged cheeses.
